General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “GTC”) apply to all bookings and contracts for spiritual readings (card readings with Lenormand cards and playing cards) between Jesús Jessel Sanjuan (hereinafter “Provider”) and his clients (hereinafter “Client”).

Deviating conditions of the Client shall only become part of the contract if expressly acknowledged in writing by the Provider.

2. Description of Services

The Provider offers spiritual readings intended to provide decision-making support, new perspectives, and impulses. The readings are purely for entertainment and spiritual purposes. They do not replace medical, psychological, therapeutic, or legal advice. No diagnoses are made, no healing promises are given, and no guarantees for specific outcomes are assumed.

In the event of health or psychological concerns, the Client is expressly encouraged to consult a doctor, naturopath, or therapist.

3. Minimum Age

The Provider’s services are generally intended for persons who have reached the age of 18. By making a booking, the Client confirms that they are of legal age (at least 18 years old).

For minors, a reading is exceptionally possible if this has been previously discussed with and expressly approved by the legal guardians (parents or legal representatives). In this case, the booking must be made by a legal guardian or confirmed in writing by them.

The Provider reserves the right to request appropriate proof in case of legitimate doubt about the Client’s age or the existence of parental consent, and to refuse the service if necessary.

4. Conclusion of Contract

The contract is concluded through the booking of an appointment via the online booking system Acuity Scheduling (https://jesusjesselsanjuan.as.me/schedule.php) and confirmation by the Provider. By making a booking, the Client accepts these GTC.

5. Prices and Payment

Prices are based on the respective booking offer. Payment is due before the appointment, unless otherwise stated in the booking system. The Provider reserves the right to confirm appointments only after receipt of payment.

6. Appointment Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellation

Appointments are arranged by mutual agreement. The Client will receive an appointment confirmation by email.

Rescheduling / Cancellation by the Client: Free rescheduling or cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the agreed appointment (in writing via WhatsApp, email, or through the booking system).

Late Cancellation / No-Show: In the event of late cancellation or no-show, the full amount will be retained and not refunded. In this case, the Provider is entitled to charge the agreed price in full or retain amounts already paid.

This is in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), whereby the entitlement to remuneration generally remains in place for agreed services if the Client does not make use of the service (Art. 366 OR in conjunction with general contract law).

The Provider will endeavour to offer an alternative appointment in the event of timely cancellation, subject to availability.

7. Conducting the Reading

The reading can be conducted in the following ways:

By telephone
By video call (Zoom)
In person (only by prior arrangement with the Provider)

The Client indicates the preferred method when booking. The Provider typically contacts the Client approximately 30–60 minutes before the appointment.

For appointments between 7:30 PM and 10:00 PM, only telephone sessions are available.

8. Recording Prohibition

Recording, capturing, or otherwise documenting (audio, video, screenshot, etc.) the reading — in whole or in part — is strictly prohibited without the express prior written consent of the Provider.

A violation of this prohibition entitles the Provider to immediately terminate the reading without any claim to refund or compensation. The Provider also reserves the right to initiate civil and, where applicable, criminal proceedings in the event of unlawful recording (Art. 179 ff. Swiss Criminal Code).

9. Confidentiality

The Provider treats all information received during the reading as strictly confidential. The contents of the reading will not be disclosed to third parties unless the Client gives express consent or there is a legal obligation to disclose.

This confidentiality obligation applies indefinitely and beyond the end of the business relationship.

10. Liability

The Provider is only liable for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

As these are spiritual services that cannot be scientifically verified, the Provider assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or practicability of the impulses and predictions given. Any action or decision by the Client is taken at their own responsibility.

11. Right of Withdrawal

Under Swiss law, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for services booked online or via remote communication. Once the contract has been concluded, the Client is generally bound by the booking (see Section 6).

12. Data Protection

The Provider processes personal data (e.g., name, telephone number, email address) exclusively for the purpose of processing the booking and conducting the reading. No data is shared with third parties unless necessary for contract fulfilment.

13. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid regulation that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision (severability clause).

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the Provider’s place of residence or — for Clients residing in Switzerland — the competent court at the Client’s place of residence, insofar as mandatory legal provisions do not provide otherwise.

Changes to these GTC will be communicated to the Client in an appropriate manner. The current version is always available on the Provider’s website.
